Woocommerce EU Vat Number

Collect VAT numbers at checkout and remove the VAT charge for eligible EU businesses.
Woocommerce EU Vat Number-This extension provides your checkout with a field to collect (and validate) a customers EU VAT number if they have one. Upon entering a valid VAT number the business (optionally businesses outside of your base country) will then not be charged VAT at your store.

The plugin validates VAT numbers using the handy European VAT Number Validation API.

VAT Number Field Settings
The extension can be configured from the WooCommerce > Settings > Tax section. There you’ll find the following options:

VAT Number Field Label – The label shown on the field at checkout (defaults to *VAT Number*)
VAT Number Field Description – Optional description shown next to the field at checkout (default is blank)
Remove VAT for Businesses in Your Base Country – If enabled, businesses with a valid number in your own base country will be VAT exempt.
Failed Validation Handling – Here you can tell the plugin what to do if a VAT number fails validation. Either:
Reject the order and show an error
Accept the order without removing VAT
Accept the order and remove VAT as normal
